This week we have been supporting Mental Health Awareness Week at St. John Vianney. As part of this Mrs Clisby has been working with the children to develop meditation techniques and has been discussing Mindfulness. The children have been really focusing on this on the build up to SAT's. Following the meditation the Year 6 children felt relaxed and were able to concentrate. they produced a fantastic piece of writing following this and said they felt more prepared.
We are proud supporters of Mental Health Awareness at St. John Vianney and will be continuing with meditation throughout the year.
