Welcome

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to St John Vianney Catholic Primary School. It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to teach the children in our care and we do our utmost to ensure they achieve their very best in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. We live our Catholic Mission each and every day and we teach the children the value of living their lives in the image and likeness of God. Our Mission guides us each day:

Together, nurtured in God’s love; we grow, achieve and belong.

St John Vianney is a happy school where people are helpful, considerate and respectful. Our children enjoy their learning and are provided with a rich and diverse curriculum that engages their interests. We pride ourselves on the positive relationships between pupils and staff and this allows our children to flourish as individuals and as part of the school community.

We work in partnership with parents and carers and their contribution to the wider life of the school is greatly valued. The partnerships we develop between home, school and parish ensure that we provide an education built on high expectations. Our dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants and other staff work tirelessly to make sure all children are successful, confident and happy but, most importantly, ready for the journey of life ahead of them.

Please take time to look around our website and enjoy exploring our lovely school.

Mrs Anne-Louise Friar, Headteacher

Please share details of our open evening.

Hi all, We have a couple of PTFA events planned in the coming months and we would really like these to go ahead for the children, however we currently have very low numbers of members of the PTFA. If you think that you can help at all, with any events throughout the year please join the Facebook group 'St John Vianney PTFA' and you can be added into the helpers WhatsApp group, or alternatively speak to Mrs Crosby to pass on your number to be added. Unfortunately if we do not have more helpers then the planned events will not be able to go ahead. Thanks in advance  Ashley
