Mission Statement
Our Mission
At St John Vianney Catholic Primary School, our mission is:
“Together, nurtured in God’s love, we grow, achieve and belong.”
This mission statement is at the heart of everything we do. As a Catholic school, we recognise that every person is created and loved by God. Through the example and teachings of Jesus Christ, we strive to create a caring, inclusive and faith-filled community where all can flourish spiritually, academically and personally.
Growing in God’s Love
We encourage our children to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, worship and reflection. We help them to understand and live out Gospel values in their everyday lives, showing kindness, compassion, forgiveness and respect for others. As a school family, together we grow in our love for Jesus and one another, learning how to care for ourselves, each other and the world that God has entrusted to us.
Achieving Our Best
We believe that every child has unique gifts and talents given by God. Our role is to nurture and develop these gifts so that each child can become the very best version of themselves. Through high-quality teaching, encouragement and support, together we aspire to achieve the very best in all that we do, celebrating effort, perseverance and success in every area of school life.
Belonging to Our Community
We are proud to be a welcoming and inclusive Catholic community where everyone is valued. Strong relationships between home, school, parish and the wider community help our children to feel safe, respected and loved. We believe that together we belong to the community and share our gifts with everyone, using our talents in service of others and making a positive difference in the world around us.

Our mission guides all that we do, helping us to create a community where faith is nurtured, achievements are celebrated and everyone experiences a true sense of belonging. Together, with God at the centre of our lives, we grow in faith, achieve our potential and become the people God calls us to be.
