The Year 5 classroom is a lively and supportive place where children take part in exciting learning opportunities every day. Our lessons are designed to be fun, interactive and memorable, encouraging curiosity and a love of learning.
We support pupils in becoming confident and independent learners, ready to take on new challenges. They regularly work together, share their ideas and build on each other’s thinking across a range of subjects. Above all, we create a safe and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and motivated to do their very best.
This year, we will be studying lots of engaging topics, including: Earth and Space in science; the Victorians in history; Extreme Earth in geography; and the fascinating world of artificial intelligence in computing.
